CPC

CPC, short for Comitê de Pronunciamentos Contábeis in Portuguese, is the local organization that promotes the application of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in Brazil. CPC approves standards that are identical to IFRS Standards as issued by the IASB, these standards are endorsed by CVM for public entities and by CFC for non-public entities.

IFRS

IFRS, short for International Financial Reporting Standards is a set of accepted accounting standards. The goal is to have a single set of high quality, global accounting standards. IFRS are issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
